Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Skinfile, including the mobile application, website, and related services.

What Skinfile Does

Skinfile helps you privately track skin changes over time. You can log photos, symptoms, severity, context, notes, products, routines, and appointment-prep information, then create a report when you choose to export.

Not Medical Advice

Skinfile is a personal tracking and appointment-prep tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, clinical guidance, disease prediction, or emergency triage.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice. If you experience a rapidly spreading rash, severe pain, fever, signs of infection, difficulty breathing, or a concerning new or changing mole, contact a medical professional.

Accounts and Eligibility

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your account secure.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to use Skinfile.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Skinfile may offer paid subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase. Prices, trials, subscription periods, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Purchases, refunds, billing, and cancellation requests are handled through Apple according to Apple's App Store terms and policies.

Your Content

You are responsible for the photos, notes, tags, product information, and other content you add to Skinfile. You should only add content you have the right to store and use.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse Skinfile, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt related systems, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, or use the service for unlawful or harmful purposes.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how Skinfile handles information, local storage, encrypted backup, analytics, purchases, and deletion controls. By using Skinfile, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

Skinfile is provided as available. We work to keep the app useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that your logs will meet every clinical, legal, insurance, or recordkeeping need.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Skinfile and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of Skinfile.

Changes and Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of Skinfile over time. We may also update these Terms when needed. Continued use of Skinfile after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
